I played an integral role in conceptualization, design and research phases of the Valley Strong Youth Campaign, ultimately leading to the selection of the final designs by the client.
Challenge
Valley Bank had been struggling to engage the younger generation in opening bank accounts. Many view traditional banking as outdated, and parents may not always have the resources to help their children build good financial habits.
Objective
Rebrand Valley Strong’s “Youth Solutions” suite of products to make them more appealing and relevant to today’s youth, while also fostering smart financial habits that empower them to become proactive individuals for lifelong success.
Strategy: Empowering Icons
The new debit cards symbolize the freedom and confidence that comes with financial empowerment. Each design features vibrant icons representing the independence that youth can achieve when they manage their own money. This card isn’t just a payment tool; it’s a badge of honor, celebrating your ability to make choices, chase dreams, and create your own path.
